Situation

The HR department needed to reorganise to ensure it continued to meet the needs of the business.

Challenges

Ashridge wanted to build upon its position as one of the world’s leading business schools and to do this needed to attract and retain the very best talent. Talent attraction & retention is one of the top challenges for all businesses in today’s tough markets.

Our Approach

Working with the HR team and key board members we clearly defined the project looking at business key goals and priorities, and the purpose of HR in its broader sense.

We set up a number of structured focus groups across Ashridge with staff at different levels looking at current roles, performance and needs of the internal customer to support the wider business. This was complemented by workshops and one-to-one interviews. The project was rolled out over three months.
